- The Cafeteria Attendants performs duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of cafeteria area.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed per Newrest and client's requirements.
- Communicate effectively with all crew members and team members.
- Prep salad bar, garnishes, desserts, and snack bar as needed.
- Set up, maintain and breakdown the food lines, serve food.
- Be held accountable for all expectations.
- Continuously monitor food standards, workflow and activities and quality of product.
- Ensure cleanliness of cafeteria and serving areas.
- Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position.
- Perform other duties as assignedAbility to stand for long periods of time.
- High School Diploma preferred
- Prior experience working in food service preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with non-exempt to upper management levels
- Aptitude in showing self-initiative and follow-through
- Detail-oriented and ability to see big picture
