THE ROLE


As an HR Compliance Officer within the CMA CGM Group, you will be responsible for ensuring that all HR related activities comply with legal regulations, internal policies and industry best practices accross the globe.

You will work closely with the HR, Legal and Operational Departments to ensure full compliance in all aspects of employer-employee relations.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Proactively contribute to the HR strategy by ensuring compliance of HR policies and procedures with labour laws, government regulations and collective agreements.

Develop and implement compliance training programmes for Group employees in conjunction with our Academy.

Monitor hiring, remuneration, time management and dismissal practices to ensure compliance.

Carrying out regular audits to identify compliance risks and propose corrective measures.

Act as the main point of contact for HR compliance issues and provide advice to employees.


Investigate complaints or concerns related to HR compliance issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation and other workplace issues, and recommend appropriate action.

Maintain necessary compliance records and reports and prepare required documentation for external audits.


As part of ongoing development, keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and provide guidance to HR and management on compliance issues.


PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in human resources, employment law or law in a related field.

Strong skills and experience in whistleblower protection, corporate compliance investigations, investigator training, FCPA/UKBA investigations or surveillance.

In-depth knowledge of employment laws, government regulations and HR compliance standards.

Strong listening, communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive the implementation of agile and pragmatic solutions.


Experience in a multicultural environment, with a proven and diverse cultural understanding, as well as experience in consulting and advising senior management is essential.

You are used to working collaboratively and cross-functionally in a diverse and dynamic team environment.

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both French and English, as well as great attention to detail.
