Overall Objectives and Purpose of the role:

In the Finance department, reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team.

You will be actively involved in monitoring operational expenditure and the company's management and reporting processes.

Within this team and as part of a matrix organization, your main role and responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Assisting the operational research and development (R&D) and administrative (General & Administration) teams in monitoring their expenditure.
  • Actively working on the purchasing process (PtoP: Purchase to Pay), i.e., controlling orders and receipts of goods and services in the company's management system (SAP By Design), training operational staff to improve the compliance of requests, overhauling the item base in SAP by conducting appropriate analyses (simplification work).
  • Working on the monthly closing (checking provisions, qualitative analysis of monthly variances on several income statement items, responding to operational staff).
  • Participating in the preparation of key financial information for management.
  • Participating in setting up presentations in the SAP Analytical Cloud tool.
  • Implementing crossfunctional financial tools for the entire FP&A team.

Experience and qualifications:


If you are a 5-year postgraduate student at a business or engineering school or university, specializing in finance, management control or IT, and are looking for an internship lasting at least 6 months and speak professional English, then we would like to hear from you.


Competencies, Skills and Behaviours:


Technical Competencies:


  • Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge of an ERP system such as SAP, BI or BPC.

Additional Skills/ Behaviours:


  • You have good analytical and summarizing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You are rigorous and autonomous, dynamic and have a sense of responsibility.
  • An appetite for information systems.
