We now focus on building the world's most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France).
With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually.
In joining us you will actively participate in this breathtaking industrial adventure to shape the future of European mobility.You will be the leader for the vision inspection process for appearance defects and dimension measurements.
- Define requirements and specifications for the vision system (both hardware and software)
- Evaluate feasibility and performance of solution proposed by machine suppliers
- Validate, optimize, and deploy computer vision models as integrated system
- Lead on machine layout, PC/HMI UI design improvements, and data communication with the vision machine
- Prepare the operational scenarios for manual defect classification and rework
Requirements:
- 35 years of working experience of computer vision related projects. Experience related to battery manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience in machine design, testing, installation, validation, and process rampup in a largescale factory
- Solid understanding of computer vision and deep learning algorithms
- Proficient with at least one machine learning framework such as Tensorflow, Keras, or Pytorch
- Strong experience in feature engineering with image processing algorithms
- Proficient in Python, experience with C++ is also valued
- Basic: Bachelor's Degree in Software/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or similar discipline.
- English (knowledge of Korean and French will also be useful)
