Job Description:
About the role:
We are looking for a
Senior Risk Analyst to support a wide range of
risk analysis and
reporting processes within PartnerRe.
Paris, France.
The main responsibilities will be as follow:
- Support Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) processes particularly in the context of capital ratio and liquidity projections under the business plan.
- Support the design and implementation of annual and quarterly singleyear and multiyear stress scenarios impacting capital and liquidity.
- Develop and produce dashboards and quarterly risk reports related to Counterparty Risk, Reinsurance Risks, FX Risk and ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) Risks.
- Conduct analysis and due diligence on liability cash flows by line of business to support proper Asset Liability Management.
- Contribute to the refresh of the ERM framework; risk appetite, risk policies and guidelines to ensure proper governance.
Qualifications:
About you:
You have a true interest in the reinsurance sector and bring the following skills and experience:
- Master's degree in Actuarial Sciences, Math or Economics preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the Re(insurance) with a high degree of understanding of the reinsurance balance sheet (assets, liabilities and capital)
- Programming knowledge background preferred in particular, writing R/Python packages
- Structured and organized with good project management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization
- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines
- English is mandatory. French language skills are a plus
