Votre rôle et vos missions:

The NAV Financing Director contributes to define AXA IM PRIME's NAV Financing Strategy and is responsible for its deployment by (i) sourcing, underwriting and executing investments in NAV Loans and (ii) by supporting the set-up, operations, management and marketing of the investment vehicles dedicated to AXA IM PRIME's NAV Financing Strategy.

AXA IM Prime business set-up

Be an instrumental contributor to the definition, deployment and management of AXA IM Prime NAV Financing products, for both AXA companies and thirdpart clients
Contribute to the offering of AXA IM Prime's NAV Financing products and work alongside AXA IM Prime structuring, operations, risk & compliance, legal and tax teams to setup the relevant funds dedicated to the strategy (commingled, bespoke and AXA dedicated)
Be an instrumental contributor in the setting up of the optimal risk adjusted profile of the strategy according to AXA IM Prime's client segmentation, in close collaboration with AXA IM Prime' sales team
Contribute to building a bestinclass reporting tool that fits with AXA and thirdparty clients requirements

Origination, portfolio construction, market intelligence and opportunities screening

Contribute to the fundamental analysis of the NAV Financing market segments and drivers as well as the impact of the trends for the whole asset class
Review market developments to identify substrategies, asset managers and investments to be considered
Determine to what extent an investment would fit with the portfolio construction objectives
Share outcome of findings with the rest of the team and make recommendations based on a first assessment of opportunities
Assess ESG impact of potential investments and analyse whether they fit with AXA IM Prime ESG targets and policy
Define, organize and manage the screening & preselection process of investment opportunites coming from the relationship network of Axa IM Prime that shall be further developped: existing AXA IM Prime's NAV Financing partners, leveraging on AXA IM Prime existing network of managers and other thirdparties across the various business lines as well as developing new relationships.
Build and coordinate an enhanced sourcing network through notably banks, financial advisors and other financial intermediaries
Be responsible for all market intelligence work (including research) for AXA IM NAV Financing activity
Organize any new investment ideas / opportunities and animate the market watch for NAV Financing

Deal execution

Participate to first time as well as followup strategic due dilligence sessions with thirdparty asset managers and funds
Coordinate with the Operational Due Diligence team for complementary operational due diligence
Contribute to the execution of transactions incl. negotiating partnership terms with GPs / 3rd party Asset Managers, in close collaboration with AXA IM Prime legal and tax
Collaboration with the operations, legal, tax, structuring and credit team to support the implementation, including liaising with Operations, AXA IM Risk Management, Group Accounting Department and Group Tax
Organize the close monitoring of investments made including performance and portfolio construction monitoring and contribute to performing an adequate reporting
Setup FX the hedging arrangements, as needed, with the Derivatives Team of Axa IM.

Client relationship, reporting and fundraising

Contribute to the fundraising effort alongside AXA IM Prime sales team through pitches preparation, performing research, and meetings
Organize control over reporting tool to ensure accuracy of data reported
Organize the monitoring of portfolio and asset performance
Oversee the production of regular reporting documents (at least on quarterly basis) using AXA IM Prime reporting tool and asset managers reporting tool. Such reports will be shared with AXA IM Prime clients. Arrange quarterly performance calls with investors
Ensure the AXA IM Prime CRM tool is updated on time

Votre profil:

Education/Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance / Economics or similar qualification

Experience/Skills

710 years of experience in the financial sector in bestinclass institutions (e.g. in bank, private lending institutions ("GP"), asset manager, financial advisory firm )
Proven success over several years in a leading role in NAV Financing investing through direct transactions (a must)
Strong and sustained negotiation skills
Deep understanding of asset management (in particular in private markets) / GPs perspectives
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
