Airbus Helicopters is looking for a
US licensing officer (f/m) to join our Export Control Program team based in
Marignane, France.


You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with US export control regulations and managing licensing requirements for our company's international business activities.

You will be responsible for evaluating, obtaining, and maintaining the necessary export licenses, permits, and authorizations to facilitate the lawful movement of goods, services, and technologies across international borders.

Your challenges:


Your challenges consist in:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, sales, procurement, and engineering, to identify export-controlled items and ensure proper export licensing procedures are followed


Maintaining accurate records of all export licenses, exemptions, and other export-related documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Interfacing with relevant government agencies, including the Department of Commerce, State Department, and other regulatory bodies, as necessary.

Supporting investigations of potential export control violations and work with legal and compliance teams to address any issues appropriately.


Your profile:

3 to 5 years of professional experience in Legal or in Export Control with a focus on export licensing

Good knowledge of export control regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements accurately.

Excellent writing skills in English required to submit Export Control authorizations

High degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and government agencies.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple licensing projects simultaneously.

Languages:
English (fluent); knowledge of French, German or Spanish is a plus
