Getting paid on time represents a significant problem for B2B companies.

Unlike consumer payments, where we've seen massive amounts of innovation in the form of companies like Venmo & Revolut, B2B payments remain archaic, with most of the work being done in spreadsheets and involving significant amounts of back and forth between different stakeholders.


These inefficiencies are extremely problematic for companies, so much so that some go bankrupt because of this - and COVID hasn't helped We're on a mission to fix this, and bring delightful B2C experiences to B2B finance teams in the process.

The mission:


As our Growth Engineering intern, you work at the heart of Upflow's Lead Generation systems, specifically our event-based outreach infrastructure.


This is an amazing opportunity to work and scale in a fast-growing Fintech and an international environment — we're based in the US (NYC), EU (Paris), and remote — and directly impact our revenue growth.


Supporting our acquisition efforts, you will work hand-in-hand with our Marketing, Sales, Ops and Growth Engineering teams to ensure that we can execute on extremely high-quality outreach mechanics — and are able to contact the right prospects (ICP) at the right moment with the right personalized messages at scale to drive up conversions in our funnel and generate new MRR.


Main focus areas:

  • Implement key eventbased lead generation and enrichment processes across our inhouse Prospect Database, Salesforce & outreach tools.
  • Identify and prepare hypertargeted audiences and campaigns based on specific criteria (intent data, vertical, geography...).
  • Automate everything we can throughout our outreach processes for the BDR team to drive more topoffunnel volume while keeping a healthy % conversion.
  • Ensure data freshness & accuracy across our Growth stack.
  • Support "allbound" Growth operations and explorations by enabling rapid iteration.

Our stack (non-exhaustive):


  • Proprietary internal codebase/automated systems for lead generation
  • CRMs: Hubspot (Marketing), Salesforce (Sales), Postgres (Lead Gen)
  • Enrichment: Zoominfo, Dropcontact, Asgard, Slintel, Captain Data, etc.
  • Automation: n8n, integromat, Hightouch,

You:


  • Speak & write English fluently, although native level isn't required
  • Have experience with Python/JS
  • Have a strong command of Excel/GSheet basic functionalities (index/match, pivot tables, countifs, etc.) or willing to learn fast
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and safely on production systems
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to factcheck themselves
  • With internal and external stakeholders of varying "tech depth":
  • Ability to communicate clearly & concisely
  • Ability to correctly manage expectations
  • Active listening & empathy
  • Have an insatiable curiosity, a bias for action, and initiative

Curious:
you're willing to learn, always. Whether it's about Growth, Outbound Sales or the latest technologies.


Big plus, not mandatory:


  • Experience with modern B2B Lead Gen stacks: SFDC, Salesloft, Linkedin Sales Nav, Clearbit, Hubspot, or equivalents.
  • Excellent command of automation tools like Zapier, Integromat, or n8n or has coding experience.

Nice to have:


  • Experience with Typescript.
