The European role of the Distribution Partner Manager is to team up with a successful and motivated European sales team to grow & overachieve the assigned quota with his assigned accounts.

The role will require a strong distribution and channel partner account management experience to get fast results.


This person will be accountable for Honeywell market share growth within his assigned accounts versus Honeywell competitors in Europe through his individual leadership impact.

This position requires a strong individual contributor who is able to demonstrate:

  • Deep understanding of Honeywell PSS European Distribution performance metrics (Sales In & Sales Out Forecast, Days of Hands, Booking, rebate target attainment).
  • Understanding of our channel community's business, needs and goals to identify potential new business & crossselling initiatives with Distributors (Channel partner Rebate program, Account Planning, Pipeline management, opportunities forecast, Marketing activities, Business development, New partners recruitment).
  • Understanding of our SFDC (Forecast process) is a must.
  • Understanding of the contribution and how to engage with all Honeywell support functions (General council, Order Management, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, Credit collection, Finance & Channel Marketing).
  • Strong network within the Honeywell Channel Sales team community in Europe to make it happen quickly.
  • Ability to team up with Distribution's sales team to define, execute & monitor business growth plan at local level.

Main responsibilities

  • Individual Sales contributor
  • Build up, monitor, and maintain the Distributor account plan within SFDC.
  • Create the right MOS that drive the desired results, with all internal / external participants that can make a business impact on the desired outcome.
  • Step up and own the sales in forecast commitment, and order booking commitment to support large projects roll out on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage the Distributor sales out forecast and pipeline in collaboration with Honeywell channel sales team and Distributor's sales team.
  • Drive a positive influence on our channel & vertical sales team to drive sell out project through distribution.
  • Use the Distributor's sales team, in collaboration with Honeywell local channel sales team, to openup new channels of sales and to create tailored growth initiatives with Channel Marketing team.
  • Identify market and competitor activities, products and industry trends and feedback this information to management and other relevant functions (e.g. Marketing or Sales Executive).
  • Be creative in driving initiatives to steal market share from competition and block competition marketing program or initiatives, using the Channel Preference Rebate tools.
  • Manage products life cycle sales out activities with Distribution, and Drive successful new products introduction, with Product Marketing team to build up future sales out revenue.
  • Coordinate and Influence the Distributor's marketing plan in best interest of Honeywell.
  • Ensure the Distributor's sales team is ALWAYS trained and aware of ALL Honeywell sales initiatives, programs, product and promotion.
  • Lead the Honeywell Distributor's funded head to build up the incremental impact we are looking for on net new revenue, project registration, new partners recruitment.
  • Team player able to leverage relationship with a strong channel & vertical sales team across Europe.
  • Build deep relationships with each distributor's local sales team community and become THE trusted advisor for Honeywell.
  • Act on the customer's behalf as an advocate to assure customer has best possible experience when interacting with Honeywell organization.
