accounting team. The role will include working across multiple international jurisdictions. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of an organization's financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record Financial Transactions
Assist with fixed asset entries
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
Resolve financial discrepancies as they arise
- Accounts payable:
Prepare and process payments to vendors
Monitor and manage accounts payable reports
- Bank Reconciliation:
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Financial reporting:
Generate financial reports and statements as needed for management and regulatory purposes
- Payroll processing:
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain accurate records.
- General Ledger:
- Compliance and Regulations:
Stay up to date with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable financial and tax regulations.
- Documentation and filing:
Assist with internal and external audits, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Specific duties and qualifications may vary depending on the organizations needs.
- Fluency in French and English required
