Head of HR France (M/F/d)


Our Head of HR France will oversee all HR activities across multiple sites including one of our larger sites in Tiffauges.

You will ensure alignment with the overall EMEA HR strategy, policies and procedures. Be a part of our journey, develop and implement the overall HR organization for further harmonization for France.


Your Responsibility:


  • Implement the people & culture strategy across French sites, ensuring embedding of company values and employee benefits to performance management, succession planning and people development
  • Establish plans for further development to improve efficiency, modernization, and corporate requirements (e.g., harmonize payroll systems)
  • Supervise HR personnel and provide expert guidance
  • Oversee all the HR activities, initiatives, systems, and tactics; maintain and coordinate all activities within the HR department
  • Business partner management and executives for organizational development; providing human resources direction, advice, and counsel
  • Advise and collaborate with managers of the entities assigned on all HRrelated topics in alignment with company goals
  • Guide management and employee actions by developing and communicating HR guidelines and organization values
  • Lead the integration of sites across the region; aligning with works council and unions, prepare decision template, develop roadmap, realize efficiencies
  • Negotiate company agreements with social partners
  • Establish and monitor key HR controlling indicators and shape HR processes
  • Collaborate with Center of Excellence and the Regional HR team on all strategy matters
  • Lead ideas and HR projects for continuous improvement or special topics
  • Follow up on compliance cases (hotline) incl. investigation and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all the legal aspects applicable, internal policies and standards

Your Profile:


  • University Degree
  • Significant experience within an international matrix organization
  • Broad experience across HR topics, with indepth knowledge on organizational development as well as Project
- and Change management

  • French Employment law knowledge in individual and collective law issues; working with employee representatives
  • Proven ability to develop a good understanding of business issues and how to identify and deliver HR interventions and solutions to meet business needs
  • Strong experience in management HR team based on several sites
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the Company, including senior level management
  • Calm under pressure, resilient and with a trackrecord of good judgement, and an ability to get things done
  • Cultural awareness and experience of the nuances of working for a global company.
  • Good knowledge of IT tools and in particular HRIS
  • Fluency in French and English, both verbal and written
