Salon 24


Thematically designed as a retrospective of the historic Parisian salons, Salon 24 is an immersive hospitality experience inspired by the visionary founder of the modern Olympics, Pierre de Coubertin.


Well known for his involvement with sport, Coubertin's philosophy of "giving ones best and striving for perfection", also translated to a unique advocacy for artistic and cultural expression.


Following in Coubertin's footsteps through the Paris Olympic games from 1924 through present day, Salon 24 will celebrate the evolution of 100 years of sport, art and culture.


THE ROLE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILTIES


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the host agency for around 50 members of host team.
  • Create the training, make sure all staff members will provide a good image
  • Manage the staff schedules
  • Access control and ticketing materials
  • Staff arrivals and departures
  • Distribution and tracking of the staff 2nd part passes
  • Manage the guests arrival
  • Transport drop off and collection
  • Tickets management and troubleshooting
  • Support the F&B Manager and Venue Manager onsite at Maison de l'Amerique Latine with the daily planning and operations of the Salon 24 premium hospitality experience
  • Manage the FOH staff to ensure guests receive a flawless and premium hospitality offering.
  • Coordinate daily staffing schedules working directly with both in house and external suppliers (host agency) and report directly to F&B Manager.
  • Provide a friendly and welcoming meet and greet service with efficiency.
  • Assist guests throughout their journey and deal effectively with any issues or challenges that arise to make the guest experience a memorable one.
Specific Responsibilities of Deliveries and Front of House Communication Manager:
Front of house operations

  • Working with the rest of the management team to plan daily run of shows to plan the days events, scheduling in:
  • Guest appearances
  • VIP access
  • Entertainment access
  • Ensuring all FOH safety and directional signage is up to date and correct
  • Liaising with the Security director daily to ensure entry to Salon 24 is ready and all H&S criteria have been met
  • Being the main point of contact for any issues which may arise from the front queue if the senior member of the team or security need an escalation point.
Management of staff

  • Management of the front of house staff to ensure they are working to the required standard and in their correct positions
  • Working with the management team to create staffing schedules and ensuring that all positions are covered
  • Managing the accreditation process to ensure all staff have provided the required information to P24 to enable them to be background checked
  • All staff will have to be trained on the workings of the venue. This will be the job of each of the Managers to train the staff for their relevant sections.
Operational Cover

  • On the rare occasion that one of the other floor managers is late or unable to make a shift, all managers should be expected to step in to this position until appropriate cover has been found. This means they should be trained on all areas of the venues should assistance be required.
Other Duties & Responsibilities


This position is responsible for managing direct reports and carrying out managerial responsibilities according to the organization's policies and applicable laws.
