JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • As part of the team Group Risk (Asset Protection, Brand and Trade Protection, Information Security and Environment, Health and Safety), the Insurance Manager will support the Head of Risk Management in actively managing the Group insurance portfolio, oriented towards the fulfilment of the Group's risk management strategies. You will have a Global Scope (Americas, EMEA, Africa, Asia)
  • She/he will ensure the coordination with thirdparties to ensure an efficient service and delivery solution to all legal entities.
  • The Insurance Manager will identify areas of risk that are not adequately covered and, where appropriate, negotiation with brokers for the structuring of the necessary cover.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:


  • The Responsible will:
  • Oversee a team of 2 people (based in France)
  • Assist Line Manager in achieving the objectives.
  • Managing international insurance programs: renewing programs, negotiating premiums, adapting cover to changes in risks and the environment, harmonizing and optimizing cover, monitoring and controlling budgets, administrative management and international coordination at Group level.
  • Management of disputes and claims related to Group contracts in relation to regional teams and in coordination with the broker, experts and/or lawyers and insurers.
  • Management of partnerships with the broker and insurance companies.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the regular reporting.
  • Use internal systems to manage insurance process, analysis and supporting documentation;
  • Support to all other departments with insurance related issues.
  • Maintain responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory, regulations, professional standards, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicable.
  • Contribute to training and development of the team.

INTERNAL :Risk Management, Environment Health & Safety Retail and Offices, Brand & Trade Protection, Asset Protection, Legal entities, Legal department, HR department.

EXTERNAL :Brokers, Insurance companies


TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • 5 to 10 years proven experience in insurance sector in large and multinational companies.
  • Coming from BtoB and BtoC companies and a general knowledge of the insurance market.
  • Captive Management knowledge is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in a team, results orientation and aptitude for problem solving.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management and ability to interact proficiently with all levels of the key functional stakeholder.
  • Proactive and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills review.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Organizational and planning.
