Our client is an
independent agency that currently administers, operates and maintains
26 permanent military cemeteries and 32 memorial structures in 15 countries around the world.

Its multicultural staff are
located in Vancouver, Paris and 26 military cemeteries.

For their Office of Overseas Operations based in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, they are looking for an IT Specialist in network and cloud.

What to expect
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will serve as IT Specialist, supporting the Agency's global network operations.

Providing onsite Tier I to Tier IV support for the agency's worldwide network operations, troubleshooting technical problems and coordinating issue resolution with network providers.
Maintaining and monitoring network PaaS and IaaS components in the agency cloud environments.
Managing the lifecycle of network hardware and software, including deployment, upgrade, optimization, support and disposal.
Participating in new network installations, upgrades and modifications, including onsite work at the agency facilities.
Ensuring network environment meets or exceeds security standards established by OMB, NIST, and DHS.
Maintaining network documentation, performing customer alerting and notification and fostering strong internal customer relationships.

Technology stack

The agency's IT portfolio encompasses the following cloud and on-premises platforms: SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SASE, Tier I on-premises network appliances, host and network intrusion detection and prevention systems, modern computing devices such as tablets, laptops, desktops, mobile phones and various modern business productivity tools such as multi-function devices.

Your profile

Minimum of 5 years of direct handson experience performing IT network administration and support, troubleshooting and problem resolution for an international organization.
Advanced knowledge of information technology, network operations and protocols.
Strong understanding of current cloud technologies and trends.
Knowledge of IT service management principles and practices.
Excellent customer service skills and effective teamwork abilities.
Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce and varying IT knowledge levels.
Leadership skills for problem identification, evaluation, and generating recommendations.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Proven track record in implementing and managing enterpriselevel wired and wireless networks.
Proficiency in supporting physical and virtual networking hardware, protocols, and security best practices.
Proficiency in English level B2 (CECFR) / level 3 (ILR).

Salary: 55,400.00€ per year
