The SEC FA Security Managers


SEC FA Security Managers will serve as the On Location (OL) security managers and will oversee and deliver all security activities at their specific locations.

They report to the SEC FA Director and will provide the SEC FA Director with direct operational support and advice to help deliver a memorable client experience and product offerings within a safe and secure environment during the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games.


As well as reporting to the SEC FA Director they will work closely with the OL operational venue managers and will proactively support cross-organization project teams, especially the OHD team.

The Security Managers will lead by example by providing an "all of organisation" approach to integrated security planning both internally and externally with all Paris 2024 public safety and security stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership, Planning, Procurement and Delivery


Advise and support the design, development and delivery of security risk assessments, security, emergency, and evacuation plans, for their allocated venues.

This is to include, but not be restricted to, physical security measures, access control systems, emergency response procedures and crisis management plans.


The Security Managers will need to work closely with the Operational Venue Managers to ensure the correct levels of service and security arrangements are in place.

They will be expected to liaise closely with Paris 24 security agencies and the French emergency services. Therefore, they should have sound knowledge of French laws, private security company policies and licencing regulations.

Oversee and report venue SEC functional area deliverables, milestones, and potential roadblocks.

Liaise with and oversee security consultant, private or venue security providers, and provide written operational returns and project progress reports to the SEC FA Security Director.


Support OL plan and coordinate operational readiness exercises designed to test and validate OL's communication, coordination, command, and control (C4) processes and arrangements across the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic area of operations.


In conjunction with the venue operational manager and the OL Security Director, support and advise on the organization of technical security devices at each venue and manage the devices during the operational delivery of the Olympic and Paralympic Olympic Games.


The Security manager is to ensure; compliance with the technical system set up on each site, quality controls in the areas operated by OL, the quality of security service providers before and during events, report any malfunction or incidents encountered to the venue operational manager and the OL Security Director.


Security Managers will take the lead in responding to developing threats or security incidents at venues, demonstrating a high standard of leadership and management in dealing swiftly and effectively with potentially complex and hazardous situations.


Work closely with, and support, Preventionists, appointed by the SEC FA, to ensure Health and Safety hazards and risks are identified and effectively controlled.


Conduct thorough post-incident actions, including incident analysis, team debriefs, the production of comprehensive records to support any subsequent investigation and ensuring lessons are learnt and shared.
