Darwin Recruitment are currently hiring for an Image Processing Engineer in Paris for a company with more than 200+ employees that specialises in AI-driven analysis for defence and intelligence applications that automatically analyses mass data from multiple sources like Satellite images, infrared, electromagnetic flows, social network and press flows. Profile

· You are a graduate of a university or general engineering school with at least 5 years of experience

· You have experience in signal processing, robotics and embedded processing

· You have Linux environment

· You master Python, C, C++

· You have the knowledge of navigation and control algorithms: SLAM, Kalman filter, servo control

· You have knowledge of image processing, artificial vision and/or machine learning

· You have 4 to 5 years of experience demonstrated in taking part in complex and multidisciplinary projects

· You demonstrate a strong appetite for new technologies, innovation and the defence sector

· You enjoy working with great autonomy, like proposing new ways of doing things and thinking "out of the box".

· You have strong intellectual curiosity, are rigorous and a good listener, your strong written and verbal communication skills are recognised

· You have a strong interest in understanding customer needs and solving operational problems as efficiently as possible
