    What you will do
As Buyer, you will be responsible for driving the project and commodities activities within your area.

You will work closely with your colleagues to secure the supplier base of the Volvo Group, on the current and the future platforms.


Some key responsibilities and activities will be to:

  • Negotiate and execute agreements with our supply partners.
  • Work in close cooperation and drive all relevant activities with our supply partners and stakeholders to deliver on QDCFTSR (*) areas.
  • Perform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers.
  • Develop the sourcing activities and supplier selection process for your perimeter.
  • Contribute to segment strategies and be an active member in the global buyer network.
  • Actively contribute to the team development, by bringing improvement ideas, support your peers, sharing good cases and ask for support when needed.

Who are you?
We are looking for a flexible team player, eager to learn and improve.
You have a can-do approach, positive mindset with high level of energy,
You like to do business, you demonstrate good communication skills and you are comfortable in cross-functional and multi-cultural set-up,
You enjoy managing many parallel activities and you have a target oriented approach,
You have a Master of Science or Business Administration, you are fluent in English.
Former experience in automotive, project or electronics are considered as assets.
