Overall Objectives and Purpose of the role:

Working in the Information Systems & Technology Department, reporting to the Head of Information Systems, you will be responsible for ensuring that IT support runs smoothly and is always available to users.

You will be involved in the management and maintenance of the IT infrastructure.

You will mainly contribute to the support of users, in particular with the help of administrators, in a Microsoft environment at the cutting edge of technology.


  • Be responsible for the results provided by the team, in line with internal procedures and the state of the art;
  • Presenting data generated within the team to partners where appropriate;
  • Allocating resources in line with objectives and ensure that the team achieves its targets;
  • Communicating and delivering the strategy defined by management within the team;
  • Continuously improving team and department processes and productivity;
  • Managing human resources activities in accordance with internal procedures and regulations.


In addition, the assignment will be carried out in a Quality and ITIL environment, where the Helpdesk technician will contribute to the development of the documentation base and the drafting of technical operating procedures.

The assignments are spread over our two sites in Marseille (8th and 9th).


Main responsibilities and key tasks:


Supervision of a team within the IT Helpdesk

  • Human resources management: recruitment, absence management, annual and professional interviews;
  • Employee training and skills development.

Installation and maintenance of IT equipment

  • Collecting and analyzing user requirements and helping to draw up rules for access to information.
  • Together with the IT department, to define the maintenance policy for the IT and telephony (fixed and mobile) assets.
  • Ensuring that computer hardware, peripherals and installed software work properly.
  • Guaranteeing the security of equipment and data on the local network and on all workstations.
  • Testing, installing and configuring new hardware and software and monitoring their allocation.
  • Identifying incidents or malfunctions and providing Problem Solving support to management.
  • Setting up and monitoring reporting (Copil/KPI/Meeting).
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.

User support and assistance

  • To monitor contractual relations and act as an interface between service providers and internal customers.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of procedures for handling requests, tickets and incidents registered by users in accordance with ITIL / ITSM best practice.
  • Organize occasional training sessions for users and new arrivals.
  • Providing IT support for users on two sites (Luminy/Prado), assisting mobile users using remote control/telephone tools (checking a remotecontrol tool on ALL user equipment).
  • Configuration and installation of new workstations and IT tools for new employees.
  • Renewal of laptops and associated equipment (Sccm & Autopilot)
  • Use of the office workstation environment (software and peripherals).
  • Tracking and inventory of licenses and peripherals.
  • VoIP fixed telephony management (Softphone, WIFI, Visio, Octopus, etc.) and mobile fleet management (Phones, smartphones, 4G routers and other mobile devices).
  • Monitoring data backups and archiving (LTO management), monitoring backups on Veeam.

Third-party tasks with the CIO

  • Contract management and budget monitoring with the CIO.
  • Identifying future needs and keeping a constant watch on new hardware, software and system releases.
  • Suggesting to the IT department ways of optimizing maintenance costs and performance in terms of software and/or hardware.
  • To place and monitor hardware and software orders within the approved budget.
  • Supervision, Steering & Project Management
  • Participating in the continuous improvement and optimization of the department's operations.
  • To manage IT asset management and/or data management development projects in line with the objectives set out in the information systems development plan (objectives, deadlines, resources/budgets).

Experience and Qualifications:


  • BAC+2/3 years' higher education in IT
  • You have at least 35 years' experience in a similar position.
  • 35 years' proven experience in team management.

Competencies, Skills and Behaviours:


Technical Competencies:


  • The main operating systems on the market: Windows (Client: MS Windows XP, 7, 8.1 and 10, Office 2010/2016; Server: W2012>2022, AD, GPO, VMWare virtualization), Linux, Unix, etc.
  • Ability to package (Intune or MSI) and deploy.
  • Active directory & Microsoft 365 administration (Level I and II)
  • Good general knowledge of the major software publishers on th
