Reporting to our CMO (Louisa Mesnard), you will play a key role in defining and implementing Elaia's MarComms strategy. You will manage our content calendar across all channels, develop and execute our events (45+ events/year), as well as new initiatives, aiming at developing our reputation and sharing our values within the startup ecosystem (entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, incubators, accelerators, specialized media, etc.)

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to

1/ Communication
In this role, you will bring Elaia's values, team and portfolio to life through content creation and distribution.

The role is very diverse; yet your responsibilities will focus on these areas:


Create content to be leveraged across all communication channels (articles, videos, newsletters, PRs, etc).

• Finding creative topics to write on, and assist our team in their writings.
• Support portfolio companies' press release strategies

Ensure distribution on our platforms (social media channels, our website, the press)

• Deliver monthly reports results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs.

Branding:
increasing our brand awareness across our key geographies ensuring brand consistency and clarity with our key stakeholders.

• Maintain brand & portfolio assets and templates, marketing and PR databases, and website updates.
• Sourcing, securing and managing conference speaking slots for the team, including managing talking points and branding opportunities.
• You will build relationships within the startup community and create opportunities to raise the visibility of Elaia as a European leading VC.

2/ Community builder
As Community Builder at Elaia, you will contribute to taking our Community of startup founders to the next level.

You will contribute to a thriving tech ecosystem and help our portfolio companies succeed, extending the offering they can tap into for support, know-how, expertise and more.

Community

• Engage and support the Elaia Family through online (Slack & Notion) and offline channels (regular events & meetups).
• Build and strengthen our relationships with the founders and foster knowledge exchange between startups.

Knowledge management:

• Source relevant content and partnerships for our founders
• Conduct research to find new and innovative ways to support founders

Perks:

Develop a strong understanding of which resources, service providers and partners would most add value to our portfolio companies and introduce these resources to the network.

Preferred Experience

• French & English speaker
• An excellent storyteller with strong written and verbal communications skills in English
• Ideally 2 to 5 years experience in a fastpaced environment (incl. highgrowth startup, consulting firm, incubator or VC)
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple functions and to take initiative
• Team player with high energy and a positive attitude
• Tech savvy; familiarity with all the new means of communication
• Curious and creative thinker, passionate about our mission and values, at the core of innovation and entrepreneurship

Must have

Fully proficient in English: strong written & verbal communication skills in English — ideally native. Additional languages are a plus.
