ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an in-house Copywriter to support all the copywriting and tone-of-voice related projects.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role is vital to setting our long-term vision and storytelling.

This position involves daily execution and lateral thinking that embodies the brand image and tone; which constructs and continues the legacy of the BYREDO.

Working closely with the Brand and Communication teams, this person would need to have excellent English writing skills and an understanding of the contemporary luxury language and landscape - developing and consolidating the tone of voice that matches the brand's position and connects accurately with our audiences (incl. press, customers, content creators, etc.)


This person will be responsible to bring our product vision to life through words, providing authentic and effective messages that resonate with the community and lead the audience into the BYREDO universe.

This role will play a pivotal position in realizing our vision and ambitions across all categories of the business. You will be working on a daily basis with the Brand and Communication teams in Paris.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Write original copies (press releases, product descriptions, invitations, newsletters, social captions, etc.) and edit existing content according to new briefs and requests
  • Centralize all copy requests (studio, HQ, subsidiaries), coordinate the copy approval process across teams (studio, HQ, subsidiaries), and deliver copies to the corresponding recipients
  • Proofread and monitor all the copy content to ensure its evergreen accuracy
  • Consolidate and further develop the toneofvoice of the brand
  • Research and present industry benchmarks to help improve the communication approaches

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO BRING TO BYREDO

  • You have a proven experience in English copywriting of at least 4 to 5 years with a solid portfolio of work, ideally in the luxury/beauty sector
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PPT
  • You are bilingual
  • Bilingual in French will be a plus
