Job Overview
We're looking for an
Assistant
Accountant
to join our Finance team supporting the Rugby division in France. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, with a strong focus on
Accounts Payable
,
expense management
, and
supporting the month-end close process
.
Reporting directly to the France Finance Manager and working closely with the Senior Finance Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations within a fast-paced, international environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, approvals, and payments
- Oversee employee expense management, including review, validation, and reimbursement of expense reports
- Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, reclasses, and AP-related adjustments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for AP, accruals, and expense-related accounts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Support month-end close activities and assist in the preparation of monthly cost reporting and variance analysis
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve invoice, payment, and expense queries
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (FR GAAP and US GAAP)
- Contribute to continuous improvement of AP, expense, and accounting processes and systems
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in in an operational accounting role with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, expenses, and month-end close support
- Fluent in both French and English, with the ability to operate in an international, US-headquartered environment
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including FR GAAP and US GAAP
- Comfortable working with accounting and expense management systems (Workday or similar) and strong Excel skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear and confident communicator, able to work effectively with local and international stakeholders
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset

Nous recherchons un
Assistant Comptable
pour rejoindre notre équipe Finance et accompagner la division Rugby en France.
À ce poste, vous serez responsable de la gestion des opérations financières quotidiennes, avec un fort accent sur les
comptes fournisseurs
, la
gestion des notes de frais
et le
support aux clôtures mensuelles
.
Rattaché(e) directement au Finance Manager France et en étroite collaboration avec le/la Senior Finance Administrator, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la fiabilité, la conformité et la ponctualité des opérations financières, au sein d'un environnement international et dynamique.
Vos missions
- Gérer de bout en bout le processus comptes fournisseurs (AP) : traitement des factures, circuits de validation et paiements fournisseurs, dans le respect des délais et de l'exactitude comptable
- Superviser la gestion des notes de frais : contrôle, validation et remboursement des notes de frais des collaborateurs
- Préparer et comptabiliser les écritures de clôture mensuelle : charges à payer, charges constatées d'avance, reclassements et ajustements liés aux comptes fournisseurs
- Réaliser les réconciliations de bilan relatives aux comptes fournisseurs, charges à payer et comptes de charges, en assurant la fiabilité et la documentation appropriée
- Participer aux travaux de clôture mensuelle et contribuer à la préparation des reportings de coûts mensuels et à l'analyse des écarts
- Être l'interlocuteur(trice) des parties prenantes internes et des fournisseurs pour le traitement des questions liées aux factures, paiements et notes de frais
- Veiller au respect des contrôles internes et à la conformité avec les politiques internes et les normes comptables (French GAAP et US GAAP)
- Contribuer à l'amélioration continue des processus et outils comptables (comptes fournisseurs, notes de frais, systèmes financiers)
Profil recherché
- 1 à 3 ans d'expérience dans un poste de comptabilité opérationnelle, avec une forte exposition aux comptes fournisseurs, notes de frais et clôtures mensuelles
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit, dans un environnement international à dimension américaine
- Bonne connaissance des principes comptables, notamment French GAAP et US GAAP
- À l'aise avec les outils comptables et de gestion des notes de frais (Workday ou équivalent) et disposant de solides compétences sur Excel
- Organisé(e), rigoureux(se), attentif(ve) aux détails et capable de gérer plusieurs échéances simultanément
- Bon(ne) communicant(e), capable d'interagir efficacement avec des interlocuteurs locaux et internationaux
- Proactif(ve), collaboratif(ve), adaptable et animé(e) par une culture d'amélioration continue
