Your responsabilities:
- facing activities.

  • Support and drive training program to enhance associates' skills in Demonstrations & Presentations
  • Contribute to and shape a culture of Diversity, Transparency and Integrity within your organization and act as a role model within Leica Microsystems_._

Your profile:

  • Multiple years of handson experience in the field of electron microscopy and
    specimen preparation workflows, preferably in Materials science (polishing and ion beam milling).
  • Knowledge of sample preservation and processing techniques as conventional techniques (chemical fixation, ultramicrotomy, critical point drying, coating) and cryomethods (plungefreezing, high pressure freezing (HPF), Freeze-Fracturing, cryoultramicrotomy and freeze substitution) are a plus.
  • Experience in light microscopy is a plus.
  • Firsthand knowledge of electron microscopy imaging (TEM, SEM), preferably for characterization of materials are a plus

Application Specialist EMEA - Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation

Vos responsabilités:

  • Soutenir et animer un programme de formation pour améliorer les compétences des associés en démonstrations et présentations
  • Contribuer à une culture de diversité, de transparence et d'intégrité au sein de l'organisation et agir en tant que modèle au sein de Leica Microsystems.

Votre profil:

  • Plusieurs années d'expérience dans le domaine des flux de travail de
    microscopie électronique et de préparation d'échantillons, de préférence en science des matériaux (polissage et préparation par faisceau d'ions).
  • Connaissance des techniques de conservation et de traitement des échantillons comme les techniques conventionnelles (fixation chimique, ultramicrotomie, séchage au point critique, métaliseur) et les méthodes cryogéniques (congélation en plongée, congélation haute pression (HPF), lyophilisation, cryoultramicrotomie et substitution par congélation) sont un plus.
  • Une expérience en microscopie optique est un plus.
  • Une connaissance directe de l'imagerie par microscopie électronique (TEM, SEM), de préférence pour la caractérisation des matériaux, est également un plus
