***: The Distribution Logistics Supervisor partners with the Manager of Logistics in France and the International Director of Logistics to coordinate global distribution to international warehouses, stores, event venues, and e-comm channel ensuring right product, right place, right time.


KEY RESPONSABILITES:

Primary responsibilities for the Logistic & Distribution Supervisor are as follows:

• Manage the logistics of retail distribution, product import and export process, controlling and directing logistics service partners contracted for distribution services. You will also liaise with the warehouse team for warehousing services
• Manage reverse logistic process
• Create, maintain, and update SOP/ work instructions required to have the global logistics of retail distribution operate efficiently and effectively
• Manage documentation related to national and international shipments
• Implement and execute processes and standards in markets to support operational excellence in market distribution
• Control logistics service partners through KPIs and regular reviews
• Track transportation costs and drive a culture or cost reduction within the business
• Manage incidences related to product distribution in conjunction with warehouse teams, invenue teams and the international transportation team. Follow up any issues in line with agreed standards, contracts and service level agreements
• Support the business with daily discrepancy management, providing solutions and support
• Constant contact with Buying and Invenue retail teams to notify daily product arrivals
• Support Buying team in measure supplier delivery performance and work with them to improve lead time
• Identify inefficiencies and simplify and automatize processes where possible. Collaborate with other business functions in the market and with international logistics execution functions to drive improvements in efficiency and quality
• Participation in projects and initiatives executed in the market
• Other duties and projects as assigned and directed by the Manager of Logistics in France and the International Director of Logistics

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
At Legends, we are looking for an individual with the energy and desire to work in a fast paced and multi-channel retail trading environment where they have shown strong numerical and planning skills:

• A minimum of Three (3) years international distribution and warehouse experience within the sport events, FMCG or fashion industry goods
• A minimum of One (1) year experience with events distribution
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics or Engineering desirable
• Fluent both in French and English
• Analytical skills and the ability to work with international/multicultural teams
• Excellent knowledge about international customs legislation
• Supply Chain execution knowledge and strong business orientation
• Gets things done, delivers to highest of standards and takes responsibility. Autonomy
• Strong IT skills particularly Excel
• The ability to assimilate new systems and reporting tools
