The Project Operations Business Division is responsible for process design packages, proprietary and automation equipment, modular units and process furnaces, from design to start-up, for our customers' refineries, petrochemical and industrial sites, using the Group's traditional technologies as well as technologies linked to the energy transition.

Its aim is to deliver quality projects, on time and on budget, while ensuring the safety of all concerned.


Within its Project Operations department, we carry out projects for furnaces and modular units, from design to start-up on customer sites.


MAIN MISSIONS:


Based in Rueil Malmaison, within the Project Services department of the Project Operations BD, and reporting to the Equipment & Module Spare Parts Supply Team Manager, you will be responsible for the proper execution of equipment orders on projects, from placing the order in the ERP system to receiving the equipment on fabrication yards or at the customer's site.


You will be responsible for the following operational activities:

  • You check and enter purchase requisitions and equipment orders in SAP
  • In conjunction with the Purchasing Department, you clarify commercial aspects, draw up and monitor orders and negotiate the corresponding amendments,
  • You organize and lead kickoff and progress meetings (including visits to suppliers),
  • You keep the project team informed of suppliers' progress,
  • You are responsible for the administrative and financial followup of orders,
  • You prepare letters of notification or claims negotiate closeout of the orders,
  • You coordinate closeout of the orders with the Project Manager and purchasing department,

You will also be responsible for logistics activities:

  • You coordinate deliveries of equipment to the construction yard or to the Customer's site
  • You negotiate and manage transport orders with forwarding agents,
  • You resolve customs issues,
  • You monitor transportrelated costs.

EXPERIENCES:


You are graduated with a degree or equivalent in engineering or business school with a specialization in purchasing, expediting and/or transport/logistics; or you have a confirmed professional experience acquired during your career in a similar role in industry, ideally in the Oil & Gas sector.

You have at least 3 years' experience in industrial Project environment.


You are used to work in multi-project mode, are able to deal with urgence and have a good knowledge of SAP and Excel.

You have a technical awareness that enables you to communicate easily with Engineering departments.

You are known for your rigour, autonomy and flexibility.

Working in an international environment, fluency in English is essential.

You will travel 10 to 20% of the time to suppliers, mostly in Europe.
