For our Portfolio & Technology Department at the company headquarters in Montluçon, we are looking for a highly motivated.


MISSIONS ENTRUSTED:

Management of the team ensuring the maintenance and evolution of Linky type meters (1 person R&D France and 2 people R&D India)

Plan the team's work

Participate in meetings with the client (technical meetings, anomaly committees,...)

Analyze customer evolution requests

Define the scope of new software releases

Estimate the workload required to make new software releases

Support the Customer Program Manager for the preparation of quotes for new software versions

Follow the development of new software versions in order to guarantee delivery dates to the customer (any delay impacting the R&D budget)

Work regularly with other teams (internal R&D and external) (meetings can be in English)

Participate in the addition of new functionalities (design, coding, integration, testing)

Perform bug fixes and participate in code cross-reviews

Perform unit and first integration tests

Write documents related to the different stages of development and testing

Use software development management tools (source management, bug or incident management...)

Write summary documents relating to the different design, coding, integration and testing phases and participate in cross-reviews (the documents are in English)

Report on the progress of the team's work and write a report


FORMATION:

Bac +5 engineer or BAC +2 Technician with >10 years of professional experience


EXPERIENCE:3 to 5 years in an engineer position specialized in the development of embedded software or equivalent with responsibility of a team.

Knowledgein electronic fields is a plus.

Experience in an international environment.

Fluency in technical English (written + oral) is required. Must be able to understand and create technical documentation in English


REQUIRED SKILLS:

Organization and planning of team work

Knowledge of C language, object-oriented development, real-time embedded system and multi-tasking

Agile methods.

Have a good capacity for teamwork: good interpersonal skills, open-mindedness, adaptability.


Have a good spirit of synthesis: necessary to digest the mass of information and documents necessary, explain a problem, its solution or report on progress.

Software development tools:
version control (SVN type, GIT), code review (Gerrit), project tracking (such as Azure DevOps, JIRA), continuous integration (Jenkins)

Communication, Cryptography, Electronics


Ability to take part, as part of a matrix and international organization, in all phases of a project from specification to validation.
