Summary of the position:

The objective of the role is to be a resource for the Captive Fronting CE team and local teams to ensure the book of captive programmes runs as effectively on 2 fronts:

External:
the service delivered to our clients (insureds and captives) is up to spec.


Internal:
for aspects such as operational, bookings, compliance, etc, to ensure deviations are managed as per internal guidelines.


The main objectives of the position are:
Monitor the Captive fronting portfolio to ensure individual account implementation is being done appropriately.
Ensure the captive portfolio is serviced appropriately and handled in conformity with Chubb compliance policies and agreed control procedures.

When a deviation is detected work with the CE team (Captive Fronting Solutions Coordinators) and the local team to analyse the issue and help remediate.

On a 'as needed' basis provide support to Continental Europe team for specific captive opportunities / analyses /process improvements.
Act as problem solver / escalation point for any issues arising on captive programmes implementation.


The Key Job Responsibilities are around:

Control:
build tools to allow for monitoring the portfolio with sufficient granularity to have an individual account view.


Remediation:
once issues are uncovered, help local team fix them and minimize impact on clients service level.


Expertise:

build an expertise on how to best structure/implement within the Chubb organization and systems captive programme of various size/structure/complexity, for local teams to rely on when binding/renewing deals.


Key tasks:


As support to CE Captive fronting team:

Portfolio activity monitoring:
enhance / improve the Management Information tool(s) for managing the CE Captive fronting portfolio (sales pipeline (target/working accounts) /renewal account process / compliance items)
Create individual account implementation tracking tool/dashboard, and then monitor the activity to proactively identify shortfalls


This can include:

Operational:
bookings being made correctly / timely


Reporting:
Information reported to captives (claims/claims/others)
Internal compliance matters (e.g. legal documentation to be received, sign-offs to
be collected, etc)

Create tools/templates that can improve captive programme implementation/follow up
(e.g. implementation guideline sheet / audit template / etc)


As support to local teams:

In close cooperation with local teams (Underwriters, Ops, Global Services, Claims) ensure
the implementation of the captive programme is effective
Provide expertise in how to set up captive programmes in our systems/organisation, and
help remediate when issues are uncovered.


On specific deals:

At a second stage (probably after 18/24 months) it is expected that the role can include the
management of a limited number of captive programmes (including client facing).


Qualifications:

Portfolio Coordinator 3 years experience minimum within insurance industry
Graduate or postgraduate
Language skills (English fluency is a requirement)
Project Management skills

Solid communication & interpersonal skills
