Wakam is an European B2B2C insurer that designs white label general insurance (GI) products for its partners (e-retailers, brokers and fintechs/insurtechs,...).

Our insurance solutions are embedded within the products or services offered to the end-customer.

Wakam operates in 32 countries across Europe with most of the revenues generated outside of France. Most of our products are delivered through API and hosts white label insurance solutions via our Play&Plug platform.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities


The Finance Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of financial initiatives that align with organizational goals.


Project Management:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and dependencies.
Identify and assess potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
Provide timely updates on project progress, milestones, and financial implications.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure seamless project integration.


Financial Analysis and Modeling:
Conduct financial analyses and modeling to support project feasibility assessments and decision-making.
Ensure financial projections align with organizational objectives and are based on sound assumptions.


Budget Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Collaborate with finance teams to provide accurate and timely financial reports for project stakeholders.


Change Management:
Facilitate change management processes related to financial projects.
Design new financial processes or systems oriented towards higher efficiency
Communicate changes effectively and provide support to teams adapting to new setups.


Profile requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the finance sector for at least 8 years on similar role, with a successful track record of delivering complex financial projects.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead crossfunctional teams.
