Description

Familiarity with basic PC components/hardware (HDD/SSD/Flash/Removable storage media/Ram/CPU/Motherboard/Input-Output devices)

Associate's degree or 1+ years of relevant experience
Basic knowledge of computer hardware systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, displaying excellent time management skills.
Ability to take direction from both a directed work system and/or a team lead.
Able to lift/move up to 20kg equipment on a daily basis.
This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment up to 20Kg; it may require working in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.

Amazon Web Services France is looking for a Media Technician to join our growing team.

Core responsibilities:

Hard drive installation, removal, and destruction
Unpacking/repacking fragile electronics
Updating progress through a web ticketing system
Basic Networking equipment removal/installation and clearing of configurations.
Sanitization of networking equipment
Relocating and moving of large enterprise equipment
Creating/attaching labels and barcodes
Reporting of processes and regular status updates
Documenting procedures
Escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required
Interact with third party vendors & contractors

Paris, FRA

Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, etc.)
2+ years or relevant ITexperience
2+ years experience with a ticketing system
