Overview
Solace's Sales Engineering team is seeking dynamic individuals with outstanding technical and interpersonal skills to perform as pre-sales/systems/partner engineers.

A Solace Sales Engineer must be self-motivated, flexible, and a team player willing to work for a dynamic, medium-sized company with a culture of excellence.

A Solace Sales Engineer owns technical relationships with customers and prospects, which involve evangelizing on a day-to-day basis in the integration space to a wide array of audiences, from C levels to developers.

A Solace Sales Engineer also drives and owns Proof of Concepts with prospects and partners for identified sales and partnership opportunities, and helps customers and prospects familiarize themselves with Solace technology from conceptual to hands-on levels.

A Solace Sales Engineer has customer success as a key driver and motivation and helps customers along their journey of Solace adoption, engagement with them on enablement, best practices, and consulting.

The Sales Engineer position will require travel based on customer needs, and sometimes internationally.

The individual will work closely with the sales and technical teams to support customers on a technical level, run customer presentations, customer trials, and customer integration/architecture, and help in the development of new accounts.

This role is based in
France and will support our local customers and initiative.


Required skills/qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree, ideally in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master's in Science, Business or Engineering an asset.
• 8+ years experience in technology/presales/technical strategy consulting roles in the integration space

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Ability to articulate technical concepts like Event-Driven Architecture & asynchronous communication and corresponding solutions to various audiences, from CTOs/CIOs to Developers, evangelizing modern concepts to help transform traditional solutions, especially in the integration and digital domains.
• Domain knowledge (from a systems integration perspective) of Banking, FSI/Supply Chain/Telco/Public Sector/Transportation /Insurance/Manufacturing would be very useful.
• Overall industry knowledge about Cloud, IoT, Big Data, Digital, Networking, and other topical technology domains would be beneficial
