Medical Director - Clinical Development

A well-renowned global pharmaceutical company with offices across the US and Europe (in around 40 different countries) is looking for a couple of Clinical Development Medical Directors to join their French team.

Role Information & Responsibilities:

• Both of these are focused on Clinical Development - provide medical, scientific and strategic expertise
• One of which will work on Oncology / Hematology (Early Phase Clinical Development) and one of which will work on Rare Diseases (Late Phase Clinical Development)
• Global scope
• Leading the Global Team within the therapy area
• Business development (developing Clinical Development plans)
• External liaison (KOLs, HCPs etc.)
• Work closely with the Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory and Clinical Operations teams
• Hybrid working model (these Medical Directors will need to be in the Paris office 3 times a week)
• Report to the VP Global Clinical Development

Role Requirements:

• M.D. required
• Minimum 5 years' experience within the given therapy area
• Minimum 7 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry (at pharmaceutical companies or biotechs)
• Global clinical trial management / drug development experience
• Previous line management experience
• Experience leading projects
