Your Role at Echo
You will be joining the R&D Team of over 20 Data Enthusiasts.

You will work in an environment made up of Data Warehouse (BigQuery, etc.), data streaming platforms (Pub/Sub, Dataflow...), orchestration and scheduling platforms (Airflow), modern deployment (Terraform), and management platforms (GCP).

We are creating a Software team working on several UI solutions : such as Self Service Platform, which allow our customers to extract and visualize data.

Your main challenge will be to bootstrap this new Echo Analytics Saas platform using best practices in back-end technologies.

Thus, this is a unique opportunity to join, build, and grow a successful start-up leading its market, from the early stages of taking significant decisions in relation to CTO, VP Product, Head of Data and Engineering Manager.

As such, your main responsibilities will be:

Provide technical guidance on the back-end side.
Contribute to the design and architecture of the backend components and systems.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and best practices in Python development.
Demonstrate expertise in Python and related libraries, staying updated on the latest features and updates.
Write clean, maintainable, test covered and efficient code using Python best practices.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers to support the integration of userfacing elements with serverside logic.
Communicate regularly with crossfunctional teams, including frontend developers, data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.

What we're looking for:

Fluency in English (French is a plus).
At least 5 years of experience in Backend Development at tech companies.
Comfortable working with the Google Cloud Platform stack.
Strong Experience in backend: Python, FastAPI, Flask
Strong Experience in NoSQL architecture: ElasticSearch, MongoDB
Experience in UI (React.

JS, Playwright, ) is a plus.

Experience in working with foreign teams.
Strong experience in Agile Methods (Lean is a plus).
Indepth knowledge of DevOps: GitHub CI/CD.
