- Overall management of RM projects: planning, cost control, quality, HSE
- Contract management of the RM projects: owning the customer relationship, ensuring compliance with the contracts (both technically & commercially), negotiating change orders & claims
- Risks & Opportunities management
- Managing the Refrigeration Machinery & Automation engineering department
- Maintain and develop the human resources of the team
- Ensure the design & engineering deliverables (drawings/specs/bill of material) meet the project requirements, ALMACO's standards, and internal needs.
- Lead product developments as per the strategy of the division
- Involvement in Sales
- Active involvement in processes implementation & continuous improvement
- Awareness of the rules and standards applicable to RM for passenger ships, and maintain your team at the right level of expertise
- Fluency in English
- Engineering education and good technical awareness in Refrigeration systems, piping, electrics, shipbuilding.
- Ability to organize and prioritize ongoing multiple tasks.
- Ability to lead a team, sense of responsibility, good communication skills.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD
- An open-minded and self-starter attitude
- Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-moving international environment.
