Description

we are recruiting for an important company specialized in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry and based in Quimper, a Planning Manager

Job purpose
Build European plants production planning and ensure the daily execution to be highest customer service level while keeping inventories and costs at the lowest level

Key outputs
Production planning in the monthly S&OP process

Elaborate with his/her team the production planning by SKU's (lag 18 months) by taking into account all parameters (sales forecast, stock, productions constraints )
Drive S&OP Factories supply review for the 2 plants
Challenge factories on production planning adherence, raw material inventory
Highlight and communicate risks and opps to the stakeholders
Identify the different scenarios/arbitrations and put in place the necessary action plans (with financial impact)
Lead the monthly review with the markets and review the finished goods stock policy by analyzing the level of stock (shortfall & excess)
Continuous improvement of Futurmaster tool

Weekly execution

Build and validate the weekly plan with the plants
Highlight the priorities for production and shipment to ensure the market will not be in out of stock situation.
Show variation between the weekly and monthly plan and propose a corrective plan

Data and KPI's

Calculate the relevant KPIs and monitor the activities to ensure the performance is close to the objectives for production planning
Responsible for his/her own data on FuturMaster Production planning

Projects

Participate in innovation or renovation meeting for products launched in the concerned plants
Lead or participate on crossfunctional project teams (as Futurmaster)

Management

Provide coaching
Management of 1 person
Define objectives and ensure they are achieved
In collaboration with HR, manage its team in terms of recruitment, career management, training, development, compensation policy

Profile
Master degree (engineering or business school)

A minimum of 5-year experience in Supply Chain

English perfectly fluent mandatory

Deep knowledge of S&OP process (sales forecast or production planning)

Must be proficient with ERP/MPR/MPS
