INOCEL is a company born from the meeting of the worlds of research, industry, engineering and also adventure with Mike HORN who acted as a catalyst for the project.

The company, based at the foot of Grenoble mountains in France, is in a strong growth phase to meet its ambitious objectives.

INOCEL has successfully raised its first round of financing, bringing the company's capital to €10M, and aims to reach a staff of people by the end of the year from the 35 we are in early-2023.

• Contribute to the promotion of a safety culture in the company,
• Perform functional safety analysis of the Fuel Cell System at each level (system / subsystem / component levels) in collaboration with the development team : Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA), HAZard and OPerability Analysis (HAZOP), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), etc.
• Follow the subsystems / components suppliers regarding functional safety aspects,
• Support the Verification & Validation (V&V) team in their activities regarding functional safety aspects,
• Support functional safety process audits (internal / external) and take into account remarks if any,
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the functional safety process,
• Formalize feedbacks from the development itself and from inservice lifecycle phase.
• Master's degree in engineering,
• 2+ year experience of functional safety in industries such as : railway, automotive, aeronautics, energy,
• Proficient in English (written and spoken),
• A 'can do' proactive attitude supporting and collaborating with others,
• A capability to work autonomously in a small but growing organization,
• A good team spirit,
• Curiosity,
• Pedagogy is a key skill to enable the diffusion of functional safety constraints in the company,
• You know V-Cycle development process,
• You know functional safety methodologies and tools (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA), HAZard and OPerability Analysis (HAZOP), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), etc.)
• You know functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and/or IEC 61508 and/or CENELEC 5012X and/or ARP4761,
• Knowledge about hydrogen system would be a plus.
