Airbus Helicopters SAS recrute:
We are looking for the
Customs Specialist (d/f/m) **for Airbus Helicopters division located in Marignane.

The Customs department is part of a 'competence center' located within Finance which provides support to all group functions.

You work closely with your colleagues from other Airbus Helicopters countries such as Germany, Spain, China and the United States, as well as with customs specialists from other divisions (Airbus Commercial and Airbus Defense and Space) located in different countries.


Your main mission is to support the French customs manager in all requests from external and internal stakeholders in order to make the process more fluid according to the customs regulations.

Major economic hub with Marseille-Provence Airport, Marignane is a dynamic city in the southeast of France. It is located near the cities of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, which host a rich cultural and tourist offer. Close to the beaches of the Côte Bleue, it offers many options for water sports activities.

You will contribute to the following main activities:
You manage the import and export daily activities for Spares, Repair and Industry flows

You support the customs broker and Airbus internal departments (Logistic, Transport, Procurement Export Control etc. )

You check monthly the KPI, report the volume of activities and the cost

You are in contact with customs authorities for control in first level

You check and give the instructions for special customs regimes (IPR, OPR, Standard Exchanges, Temporary Storage)

You find solution in order to resolve import and export litigation

You participate in the operational weekly meeting

You draft customs quality documentation to be used for internal and AEO renewal audits according to Airbus customs directive

This position could involve traveling occasionally to Paris area and Albacete site.


Your background:
You bring several years of customs knowledge and extensive experience in customs (Special customs regime, customs tariff classification, origin, customs value rules)


Your hard skills and qualifications:
You have an excellent network in the customs area

Experience in customs systems e.g. GTS (Global Trade Services) from SAP is a clear plus

Your knowledge of logistic, transport and export control are highly appreciated

Ideally you have experience in the aviation industry

Experience in Google Workspace is a plus


Your soft skills:
You are confident in reading and understanding complex documentation and in creating legal documents

You like to work in a transnational team and have excellent communication skills

You are able to convince your stakeholders, internally and externally, due to your competences and your sovereignty

Your language skills:
French at negotiation level

English at intermediate level

Spanish is a plus

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
