Description
This position will provide territory management for Field Service covering France.

The successful Field Service Engineer (FSE) will be appointed a dedicated territory, however cross territory support might be required from time to time.

The FSE will be required to maintain current, up to date knowledge of all customer enquiries, current installations, technical upgrades and field issues pertaining to the ASP portfolio of products and services.

The FSE will support the commercial team on pre-sales and after-sales activities as and when required. This position requires frequent travels in France (approximately 50% - 60% of the time).


Responsibilities:

Ensure technical interventions of preventive and curative maintenance, for the "Sterrad" equipment, on a predefined geographical area
Ensure a reliable diagnosis and a technical resolution of quality, in the standards imposed by ASP
Respect the maintenance plans defined between the customer and ASP and improve the reliability of the Sterrad
Ensure a high level of customer happiness in the given geographical area, by establishing and maintaining active communication with the customer
Promote the implementation of maintenance contracts in collaboration with the Sales Force
Participate in the achievement of the financial results of the ASP France Technical Service
Maintain the customer installed base, and provide the Sales Force with business opportunities, in an effective inter-departmental relationship
Maintain a high level of reporting both in terms of activity and technical information
Provide advice to customers, including hospital biomedical engineers or technicians, and support them in case of problems
Support and share knowledge with other technical team members both in the field and remotely to increase the technical knowledge level of the team
Complete all training and documentation requirements in a timely manner


Qualifications:

Background as an electro-technician, electromechanical, biomedical technician, etc.
Experience in the medical field is a plus (respiratory, medical beds,)
Proficient in English & French
Willingness to travel 50-60% of the time.
