The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in UK's _Building Services providers.

_We design, develop, and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.


Alternative Heat specialises in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of Prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe.

We also offer turnkey design, build & operate solutions for commercial energy centers and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.


Role

Job Summary


We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is competent in assisting the Site Manager and the wider site teams to document and compile daily reports, markup/highlight drawings to assist in the progress reporting, compile commissioning documents/benchmarks, scheduling of commissioning engineer and the management of delivery scheduling and co-ordination of procurement.

Travel requirements:

This role is aimed to be a full-time Engineer on site. Travel will be on a rotation system every fortnight.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Liaise with the project site manager to establish Daily workload.
  • Read and fully understand the construction drawings for each project.
  • Ensure all QA/QC documents are completed in order of installation.
  • Ensure all deliveries are booked into the client's delivery procedures.
  • Liaise regularly with site manager in relation to labour so the man loader can be updated.
  • Provide daily progress reports on the project.
  • Provide weekly progress reports on the project.
  • Update Site Management on project progresses and in accordance with project programs.
  • Maintaining quality control procedures.
  • Ensure all site inductions, toolbox talks, safety inspections are documented and saved.
  • Ensure compliance with overall site safety and the correct PPE is on site and in good supply.
  • Ensure company waste management procedures are adhered to onsite.
  • Set a professional example to all personnel onsite.
  • Attend Daily Dabs and H&S Site Meetings.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Previous experience working in the Data Centre environment.
  • Computer skills, including the ability to operate Microsoft Office & Excel.
  • Organise a structured approach to your work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied portfolio of work.
  • Good attendance and timekeeping record.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Selfmotivated and enthusiastic with the ability to motivate colleagues, whilst maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • The ability to operate Field view and 4Projects would be considered highly advantageous.
