What would you work on ?:

Context
GitGuardian is growing fast, as well as the legal matters in the Sales, Purchase or international recruitment processes.

To support our strong business growth, the Legal team (led by Federica, Commercial Counsel) is looking for a Legal Intern to reinforce the team:

  • participate in the daily management of the Company's legal matters,
- support the legal structuring of the team.


Missions
You will be managed by the Commercial Counsel and will work in close collaboration with all the departments of the company to:

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with prospects (including but not limited to software licensing agreements and data privacy agreements);
  • Ensure the proper monitoring of the purchasing policy by reviewing supplier contracts;
  • Participate in the department's compliance projects (data privacy policies and procedures, company website terms and conditions, etc.);
  • And more broadly, participate in the legal structuring of a fastgrowing company with many legal challenges, in France and in the USA.

More about you:


  • If you think you are only matching 70% to 80% of these criterias, please send us your resume _
  • You speak English at a native or proficient level (ability to write legal content and to communicate orally, 80% of our customers are based in the US).
  • You have a previous 6 months internship experience at a law firm and/or inhouse legal department.
  • You have knowledge in commercial and data protection / privacy compliance matters
  • You graduated a Master 2, LL.M. from a USaccredited university welcomed.
  • You must be able to deliver an internship agreement ("convention de stage") for the whole duration of your internship.
