Description

We are hiring a Direct Buyer located in Schiltigheim or Sarrebourg.

What You Will Be Doing:

Manage suppliers concerning all performance measures in collaboration with Material management and Quality through scorecard reviews
Manage the contracts MPA/SOP and support financial assessments
Create and implement Cost reduction ideas
Price negotiations and benchmarking to optimize costs
Supplier's capability and capacity (current and future) via LTCP (long term capacity plan)
Support in case of supplier performance issues (escalation)
Manage and maintain procurement SAP master data (SKU and Supplier, frame contracts )
Organize sourcing events to cover the (new) needs (Material/Capability) for new product development and collaborate on the future need with the MUC team
Monitoring of technological developments (material, processes ) within the portfolio

Who You Are:

Strong communication skills both written and verbal, and capacity to influence others
Engineering background
Resilient facing challenging environment
Team player with handson and problemsolving mindset
Analytical thinking and good Excel skills
Intentional in building strong business relationships
Project Management and people coordination skills
Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking
Advanced negotiation skills
Fluent in English, French is a plus
