    The Program:

    At Medidata, interns will have the opportunity to accelerate their careers by working closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For 12 weeks, beginning May 20, 2024, interns will have an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of what it means to be a Medidatian. You will be contributing to the line of business with sustainable and meaningful work.

    Our Summer Internship program also includes instructor led training, guided mentorship, exposure to senior leadership and community service. In addition to individual and specific related responsibilities, each intern will participate in our Intern Innovation Lab. Assigned to cross-functional teams, interns will work closely to develop an innovative solution to a business problem currently facing Medidata. As they work diligently to present their final solutions to a panel of top Medidata leaders, we are confident that our interns will make a significant impact on our business.

    About the Team:

    As a Sales Operations (Deal Hub) intern, you will assist the Sales Ops team in creating the 2025 software renewals utilizing a newly introduced automated process. Your responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy and validating the legitimacy of key renewal transactions.

    You will create Advanced Excel (can perform complex functions) /Gsheets files and tools to compare upcoming renewals with past records.

    Additionally, you will develop Salesforce reports using the Sales Intelligence platform. These reports will track data hygiene associated with the sales pipeline of future opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    Under senior mentorship, you will collaborate on projects such as:

    • Cross-referencing the future 2025 software renewals contracts
    • Create tools using Excel or Google Sheets to compare 2025 renewals data to 2024, identifying incremental differences
    • Coordinate activities related to 2025 renewals planning

    Qualifications:

    • Interest in Software, Sales Operation, Lifesciences Industry
    • Detail oriented, highly organized
    • Experience with Excel pivots, Google Sheets, Data comparison
    • Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
    • Commit to program from May 20-August 9
    • Come into the NYC office 2 days per week

    The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in NY/NJ. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than NY/NJ may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base hourly pay range for this position is $ an hour and a $3,500 sign on bonus.
