- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs engineering equipment and tools used in clean room.
- Perform both curative and preventive maintenance.
- Produce quality results in a timely manner.
- Communicates problems to engineers and managers.
- Participate in the creation and update of maintenance procedures and instructions.
- Participate in the installation and qualification of new equipment, materials and processes.
- Contribute to equipment failure detection and root cause analysis.
- Fills the proper documentation and software systems as required by the quality policy, get the appropriate actions to get ready for quality audits. (Up to IATF)
- Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment and tools.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 2-year or 3-year technical degree (BTS MS or MI – DUT/BUT GMT or GIM) with about 1 year of related maintenance experience. (NCG also accepted)
- Demonstrate high attention to details.

Microchip's MPU32 group offers microprocessors which rightly balance the performance, power, cost and come with advanced security capabilities which caters to a multitude of applications. With a broad set of peripherals and interfaces, these MPUs can support a wide range of applications. Point of sales systems, home and industrial automation systems, automotive infotainment etc. are just a few among various supported end uses.
MPU32 group is looking for a new Equipment Technician. Reporting to the Equipment manager, he will be part of the MPU32 Engineering team in Rousset. He will perform equipment preventive and curative maintenance to provide fully functional equipment to the engineering teams of Microchip Rousset (MPU, Aerospace and Defense, Technology developments business units). He will participate in installation and validation of equipment in the clean room. Equipment ranges from wafer probers or device handlers to state-of-the-art automated test equipment and air thermal flow systems.
