Field Service Engineer within our ultra-ambitious team as we continue to disrupt the market As part of this position, you also will support Ultrasound systems (with support from expert).


As an emotionally intelligent professional with a background of understanding and responding to customers' needs on site, you will use this role to join our growing business in this position working alongside senior stakeholders in driving key service relationships whilst showcasing your appetite for overachievement.


Experienced in a field-based service role within Patient Monitoring capital equipment, you will have a background including providing onsite training and servicing or a Biomedical qualification.

Ultrasound support will also be requested time to time, you will get support from our Ultrasound expert for these cases.


Your responsibilities:


  • Respond to customer calls during office hours, Monday to Friday bearing in mind that customers must be contacted within 24 hrs of their initial call
  • Take responsibility for the effective management of your designated service area including promoting new contracts and liaising with customers for renewals
  • Take a project management role for installations within assigned service territory and coordinating the installation of large orders if required
  • Perform Corrective repair and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits on time in line with Mindray SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Assist sales and marketing team with tender opportunities as technical support and to promote service contracts
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and liaising with the Service Supervisor/Manager to ensure they are calibrated
  • Maintenance of spare parts inventory, company vehicle and other company equipment and supplies
  • Occasional training of clinical staff on designated equipment
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining both parts and loaner inventories allocated to them
  • Other tasks or responsibilities designated by the Field Service Supervisor, France

What are we looking for in you?

  • PMLS field service experience in France is vital as is extensive PMLS knowledge
  • Ultrasound knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Based 'on patch' in the Paris area, or prepared to relocate to this area
  • Flexible to travel as required
  • Experience of working in France requiring no company sponsorship to join our business
  • Experience of providing training on medical devices capital equipment
  • Technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of all medical products.
  • Good electronic, software and mechanical skill to perform corrective & preventive maintenance and to perform on site installation, curiosity, and passion for hightech products
  • Proven knowledge in IT, including network, TCPIP
  • Knowledge in Medical IT solutions (HL5 &/or Dicom) is a plus
  • Evidence of emotional intelligence is critical
  • An ability to address customer requests through strong listening skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships
  • Proven negotiation skills with a problemsolving attitude
  • Quality oriented & focussed with good rigor to perform daily activities
  • Fluent French and business level of English is critical
