We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis controller to join the finance team of the European Medium Duty Business Unit.

Our team is engaged, flexible to support the business, and capable to work in multiple environments combining Operations, Technology and Business.

We have the responsibility to measure, analyse and communicate the financial performance of the Business Unit in all its activities.

As business partner we are involved in the daily business activities and strategic agenda by supporting the organization in understanding the end-to-end financial implications of decisions.

The aim is to secure the creation of value.

Digitalization and its impact on finance is clearly part of our roadmap to be more effective, to provide deeper insights and facilitate more informed decision making.

Competencies in the field of data analytics and data visualization will make the difference.


Your mission
You evaluate past and present financial results together with business data to model risk & opportunity factors. You consolidate investments roadmap and model the impact on mid/long term profitability. You organize and deliver the analysis of the performance of business decisions and strategic investments.


Your core responsibilities

Profitability analysis:

  • Analyze the endtoend profitability of our products and use data analytics to identify profitability levers and area for optimization.
  • Define benchmark points on financial indicators in comparison to similar businesses.

Strategic financial planning and Scenario planning:

  • Evaluate and analyze the implication on profitability of strategic initiatives and investments. Secure alignment with overall EMD BU strategy and draw concrete recommendation to optimize the performance.
  • Develop simulation models to support both short and longterm strategic work of the Business unit and the related decisions.
  • Project and analyze financial impact for different scenario and assessing what internal and external factors would influence endtoend results.
  • Analyze the results of business decisions to assess the realization of business cases. This will feed the future scenario planning for improved risk analysis.

Required skills and qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration
  • Finance and accounting
  • Competencies in business intelligence tools (power BI) & data management
  • Efficiency & quality through digitalization & automation
  • Communication & storytelling presentation skills
  • Team player and flexible to support the team's deliverables.
  • Networking, partnering & collaboration
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and French
