WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

Be responsible for Safety, nVent has 0 incident goal
Provide strategy and direction to your team.
Act as a continuous improvement ambassador and drive waste out of the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology. Work crossfunctionally to identify, develop and implement other opportunities for improvement. Put in place costeffective procedures, systems, tooling, equipment, etc. Drive, facilitate and participate Managing Daily Improvement (MDI).
Lead change management activities (create transition plans from current to future state and implement).
Assure that strategic plans are in place for talent acquisition, employee development and performance management. Develop open lines of communication to continually monitor employee attitudes and concerns, and implement appropriate actions with input from Human Resources.
Coordinate and direct activities that respond to customer and market needs through contact with marketing and sales departments and as well as with Product management. Develop and handle relationships with supply management and Engineering/Product Development.
Plan and schedule the work of the organization to make effective utilization of employees, equipment and material within budgetary requirements, and cost and quality standards to meet our customer's expectations for quality and delivery.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor degree (Operations Management or related field highly preferred). Master's degree preferred.
10+ years manufacturing operations leadership experience.
Knowledge with proven skills in using Six Sigma and Lean tools
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to teach and facilitate groups using data for decision making. Ability to build relationships, to network and to influence all levels in the organization
Analytical skills and business financial knowledge a plus
Skilled in full cycle process/project management, planning and change management. Strong project leadership experience
Ability to effectively plan, direct and coordinate to changing demands and circumstances activates across cross functional teams and departments
