The Field Service Planner plays a central role in the order fulfilment process by performing the planning within its locations to ensure that Field Service delivers on time.

He/she is responsible for analyzing demand and supply for Field Service, creation and coordination of mid and long-term capacity planning and identification of potential problems.

The Field Service Planner formulates and implements improvements and motivates relevant stakeholders to implement these improvements.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Executes the monthly S&OP process for Field Service for South Europe, Middle East and South Africa (SEMEA) region or industry
  • Executes the weekly Master Scheduling Planning process for Field Service for SEMEA or industry
  • Provides an uptodate overview of planned/available Field Service Engineer hours/capacity.
  • Analyses and plans Field Service hours and availability necessary for executing orders on request/quotations
  • Identifies resource needs/shortage/excess and involves relevant stakeholders to work on possible solutions.
  • Proactively balances the load and promotes flexibility within service to find solutions in order to meet demand based on the S&OP and master scheduling process.
  • Works with Field Service Manager, Project Management and other key stakeholders to prioritize current order execution.
  • Maintains the planning of the FSE within the location in close cooperation with the Field Service Schedulers.
  • Works for resource escalations from SEMEA
  • Coordinates the skill matrix update regularly with Service Manager

  • Excellent analytical skills and structured approach to tasks.
  • Experience working in a multinational and cross matrix organization
  • Strong in analyzing data and works well under pressure.
  • Plans activities and projects well in advance and takes account of possible changing circumstances
  • Manages time effectively, monitors performance against deadlines and milestones
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent English knowledge, both written and verbal
  • Relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience with Resource Planning and Demand Management or equivalent
  • Experience with planning and project management is a plus
