Description

The Mechanical Engineering team provides value add by:
Driving, executing or supporting development, integration and testing of mechanical components in the products.

Identifying and selecting components, materials, parts and semi-products.

Creating mechanical models and tolerance analyses, simulating mechanical design concepts and documenting final layout.

Continuously upgrading the design and functionalities of existing products and devices in order to enable customers to work with VISHAY products most effectively.

A job at this level:
Elaborates, analyzes and documents product specifications, and adapts and proposes options for functionality or layout design.

Provides guidance to supportive technical staff, and oversee execution of assigned processes and transactions.

Creates comprehensive development reports, provides recommendations for management or general business operations.

May lead assigned parts of projects (categorized as workstreams of midsize or large projects), or manage rather small to medium product adaption projects, in cooperation with the customer.
