The purpose of this PhD thesis is to work on the development of new bio composite materials. The first step is to contribute on the fabrication process using Vacuum Bag Resin Transfer Molding process (VBRTM). The biocomposite is made of Greenpoxy and banana leafs fibres. once the material is made, a kinetic study will be conducted using Thermo Gravemetric Analysis (TGA).

This study, allow us to determine the kinetic triplet, to develop a reliable model to be implemented to Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) in order to meet the challenge and better understanding the physics fire growth and material flammability, and to improve the thermomechanical properties which leads to significant impact on the thermophysical parameters.

She/He should be able to work independently by taking into account suggestion of the team in which she/he will be integrated.

Specific knowledge related to fluid mechanics, CFD, combustion and fire are expected.
