  • Execute engineering RSC project activities according QCD commitments through a strong engineering planning culture. Development (up to validation & Certification) and Reliability growth activity.
  • Perform engineering RSC activities for tenders in the region in touch with central preengineering for Rolling Stock offer
  • Drive coengineering specially with process engineering and codevelopment with supplier via sourcing
  • Supervise products, key technical decisions and safety critical issues and contribute to RoE

Accountable for:


  • Engineering tender & project execution and commitment (QCD)
  • Ensures compliance with contract technical requirements
  • Management of technical risks & mitigation plan definition
  • KPI targets from SED dashboard
  • Supervision of key technical decisions and safety critical issues
  • People management cycle management for the collaborators he is in charge with: ontime and quality of data with associated Training and development plans to reach target competence level

Responsible for:


  • Is responsible for Train level Engineering Work Packages QCD
  • Managing the Global Scheduling Convergence, with support of Engineering Planning Manager
  • Manage interfaces with other stakeholders onsite for coengineering specially with process engineering and codevelopment with sourcing/supplier
  • Is responsible for engineering points within DFQ Gate Review checklists, provides to Project Managers his prognostic and puts in place necessary actions to mitigate a No Go risk
  • Monitor engineering operation activity and inform Site MD and SED about major events
  • Providing to workload manager regular updates on project engineering firm workload including forecasted internal and external change orders, based on inputs from Métiers team. Challenges inputs.
  • Escalating to Métiers/SED staffing issues (understaffing, competences, subcontracting problems, under performance )
