    Team Overview

    The product management team is responsible for all aspects of a product, from its conceptualization, through its development and launch, to its continuous improvement.

    Our team is part of the business line which is responsible for products and services delivered to the insurance industry and our main focus is on the products Riskintegrity for IFRS17 and RiskIntegrity for LDTI.

    Join our dynamic Product management team as an intern. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer-centric innovation.

    Overview of role/responsibilities for the intern

    To enhance the quality of our deliverables, we have delineated various areas for improvement.

    The successful candidate will assist in the design and implementation of these outcomes with the support from various teams.

    • Improving one of our existing internal tools. It is currently an Excel macro (VBA) which aids in creating configuration files for our accounting and reporting framework. Your role will be to enhance its functionality and efficiency.
    • Developing a new tool that will perform various validations between different cells coming from one or multiple Excel reports. Thereby mitigating regression risk and elevating the quality of our generated reports.

    The candidate will work closely with various team members, coming from the Subject Matter Experts, Engineering, and Product Management teams.

    Qualifications

    Must have:

    • Currently pursuing the last year of a Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field
    • Coding and programming experience in any language
    • Driven and committed, demonstrating self-motivation
    • Collaborative
    • Fluent in French and able to communicate in English

    Nice to have

    • Knowledge on finance is a plus
    • Experience with a version control system such as GitHub
    • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
