The part you will play
Talixo is working together with local companies around the world to provide first-class ground transfer services to our customers. As our new Purchasing Manager, you will manage the relationship with our local fleet partners. This includes sourcing new supply, maintenance of competitive pricing deals, quality monitoring, risk diversification, and capacity management.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Shortlisting of potential new partner fleets, cold calling to acquire new leads, and lead qualification.
- Continuous monitoring of service quality by using key performance indicators.
- Establishing a network of partnerships and negotiating deals across your region and your product line.
- Market research and competitor analysis.
- Account development (e.g. in defining strategic initiatives to fully integrate fleets in the Talixo system).
- Onboarding and training of new fleets.
- Close collaboration with other Departments (Sales, Tech, Operations) to improve processes, and procedures and further develop our IT system and tools.
What are we looking for:
- Background: University/college degree ideally with a business focus.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- Strong datadriven mindset and experience in working with KPIs.
- A structured approach to problemsolving, able to work independently and creatively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Intercultural experience.
- Team player, willing to learn and develop.
